Rodriguez was completely beside himself from the moment that he realized that Silver was missing, he couldn’t believe that from right under his nose, the love of his life had been taken away from him. He went into a near mad state trying to comprehend the fact that he had done nothing to protect her, and that had been all he had wanted to do ever since the start of it all, from the moment that he had seen her tied up in that room in his house, all he had wanted was to protect her.
She was so much like a child, he didn’t want her to go through this kind of pain, not again. Not when he didn’t know the motive of whoever had taken her or who they were in the first place.
