* * * * The sun was setting on the horizon as Emilia,Sophia, and Michael set out on their journey to drop Emilia at Sophia's aunt's place for safety from Karkoth, also known as Lucifer. The streets were quiet, and the air was thick with tension as they drove through the deserted road. Emilia couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in her heart ever since they decided to take this trip. As they drove further away from the city, the forest surrounding them seemed to grow darker, the shadows dancing in the fading light. Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of their car, causing Sophia to slam on the brakes in panic. It was Lucifer himself, standing tall and menacing with a wicked grin on his face. Emilia's heart pounded in her chest as Lucifer roared out a rebellious and weird laugh, sending shivers down her spine. He approached the car with an air of power and intimidation, his eyes gleaming with malice. Emilia could feel the dark energy emanating from him, filling her with dread. "Emilia, haven't I told you that when I want something, I make sure to get it? you can try, try and run to anywhere in the world but no body can run from Lucifer, the king and ruler of darkness himself" Lucifer's voice echoed through the silence, his words dripping with menace. With a wave of his hand, he lifted the car with his powers and hung it up on a tree, causing Emilia, Sophia, and Michael to gasp in shock and fear. Emilia's voice trembled as she asked Lucifer what he wanted. His eyes glinted with amusement as he told her that he wanted her. Michael cut in, saying that he could never have Emilia, no matter what. Enraged, Lucifer opened the door of the car while it was still hanging from the tree and pulled Michael out, separating him from the others. Emilia and Sophia watched in horror as Lucifer pinned Michael up on a different tree, his hands wrapped around Michael's throat, strangling him. Michael gasped for air, his face turning red with the lack of oxygen. Emilia and Sophia begged Lucifer to spare Michael, their voices pleading for mercy. Lucifer turned his attention back to Emilia, his eyes filled with a dark hunger. He told her that she had a choice – either watch her friends die or agree to his demands. Emilia's heart pounded in her chest as she asked him what his demands were. Lucifer roared out a sinister laugh, his voice sending shivers down her spine. "I admire your personality, Emilia, and your love towards your friends," Lucifer said, his voice dripping with malice. With a flick of his wrist, he released Michael from the air, throwing him down to the ground. Michael groaned in pain, clutching his throat as he struggled to catch his breath. "Meet me at the office tomorrow, 9 AM sharp," Lucifer commanded, his voice ringing with authority. Emilia nodded, her heart heavy with fear and uncertainty. With a swift motion, Lucifer brought the car down from the tree, the metal creaking as it landed on the ground. Emilia and Sophia wasted no time in rushing to help Michael, their hearts filled with relief that he was still alive. As they tried to lift him back into the car, they turned around – only to find that Lucifer was nowhere to be seen. Sophia let out a shaky breath, her eyes wide with fear. "Oh God, come on, let's get out of here," Sophia said, her voice trembling. The three of them helped Michael back into the car and reversed, driving away from the forest as fast as they could. The darkness of the night seemed to swallow them whole, the echoes of Lucifer's laughter still ringing in their ears.
