*Gabriel*
I fixed my work out watch to my wrist as I trotted down the stairs from my room. Esen would already be on the track since my morning meeting went way longer than I had hoped.
I tightened the laces of my new shoes as I stopped at the beginning of the track, Esen was about to lap the quarter mile marker but he skidded to a stop as he saw me and smiled, breathing in heavy breaths as he raised his hands over his head and laced his fingers within each other behind his head.
“Hey man.” He breathed, “Good to see you aren’t slacking.”
I rolled my eyes as I stood then paused as I sniffed the air around him. “What is that smell…?” I had to control my desire to growl at the scent.
He gave me a confused look before shrugging, letting his hands drop. The smell wafted off of his right hand and I caught his wrist as it fell. Bringing it closer.
“Dude, I know we are close but this is weird.” He said. I looked up to him and dropped his hand from mine. Giving him a quizzical look.
“Your hand…” I began.
“What about it?” he asked.
“It smells like that girl…”
“What?” he brought his hand up to his nose and took in a deep breath but shook his head, scrunching his face at it. “I don’t smell anything…”
“Was anyone else here?”
He thought for a second then nodded. “One of the new house keepers. Ella… I shook her hand when I introduced myself.”
“That's her scent.” I assured pointing at his hand, “That has to be her. I’m Sure.”
Esen shook his head, “I didn’t smell her really…” Esen sighed as I turned, wanting to chase after her.
“Gabe, C’mon you’ve been slacking on your routine.”
I sighed and caved as I turned back around, trying to hide that my c**k had been growing in my tight pants from smelling her in the air around us. “I know… I just…”
“C’mon man.” He urged and I nodded. We began our run around the track. But I couldn’t keep my mind off of her.
“Esen… What did she look like.” I said as we paused at the marker. I was desperate.
Esen sighed, giving me a pitying look. “She's about 5 feet tall, slim, and curves… She has long light brown hair and dark eyes.” He said thoughtfully, “She's ridiculously pretty, and seems like she is really nice. She seems super athletic… She was out here running before I came out.” he paused as I listened, trying to picture her. “Man, Gabe, are you really this enthralled with her?”
I shook my head, “I can’t get her out of my mind man…” I admitted, “She’s all I can f*****g think about.”
“Dude, go take a cold shower, you are useless as a workout partner when you’re horny.” He rolled his eyes at me and I nodded.
“Yeah, we can work out tonight, okay?”
He nodded and waved me away before he started back on the track as I trotted through the garden and back into the house. I had only gotten a mile in but I stepped into my shower and rinsed in cold water before pulling on my usual slacks and buttoned shirt. I opted not to slick my hair back today, hardly stopped to pick out a nice pair of shoes that actually matched my slacks. I fastened my watch around my wrist as I made my way back through the house to my office. I felt slightly more casual than I would usually allow myself to be when going in to work, but I was too anxious to worry about my appearance today.
I sat at my desk and started up the computer in front of me before Beth pushed her head into the door and looked at me with a smile. I was hoping to see my mystery girl trail in behind her, but Beth was alone and let the door close behind her as she stepped up to the chair she typically falls into.
I cleared my throat. “Morning…” I said, focusing on the computer.
“Morning, You look like a mess.” I appreciated her honesty but shot her a smug look about it, watching her smile.
“I’m just…” I looked at the screen and cleared my throat again, “It’s nothing, just a busy morning.” I assured. “What's up?”
“Oh, I sent the newbies on a break, didn’t want to overload them on the first day.”
“About the new housekeepers.” I tried to bring them up carefully, but I felt like I seemed anxious about it as I moved the focus to them. “Are they doing okay? Do they need anything?”
“No, they seem fine. Ella is picking up quickly, Taylor is taking a little longer but she's very enthusiastic about it.”
“Will you bring them to meet with me soon?” I asked.
“Of course, like always.” She responded. My body sent a burning wave through me. Imagining the girl that had been hired as the new housekeeper being the mystery woman I had f****d on my desk and who had occupied every single thought I had for the past week excited me. I desperately wanted to meet her and find out if she was indeed the woman who stole every single bit of sense that I had in my brain. I was desperate for her, I needed to know if that woman was right under my roof now, and I needed to find out if that woman was my fated mate…
