Its been a couple of days since I found out that I'm a hybrid. Jaxon has been really helpful with everything. always helping me when I need it. I know that he is used to a certain way about the whole mate thing. But I'm not ready for that.
He has been following me around a lot. I think it is cute, seeing how he just wants to be near me. he put me in the bedroom next to his, understanding that I am not ready to share a room.
He understands that I am not ready. and I am thankful for that.
The last thing I need is for someone to force me into things. That is not something that I need.

Waking up, I lie in bed not wanting to get up. I hear a knock on my door that brings me out of my thoughts.
"Yes? Who is it?"
"Its Jaxon. Can I come in?"
I reply "Yes. You may"
He opens the door and smiles when he sees me still in bed.
"I brought you breakfast. I knew you probably didn't want to go downstairs to get it."
I smile. he makes my heart melt. he is like the perfect boyfriend
I pat the bed next to me. "sit with me. I want to get to know you better"
His eyes light up "Really!?"
I nod with a smile. I laugh when he rushes over to the bed. He hands me the tray with food on it. I notice the mug of coffee just how I like it.
"You know how I like my coffee?"
He blushes. "Yeah, I pay attention to you a lot. Probably more than I should. But I don't care."
He looks down at his lap. I reach over and grab his hand. I feel the sparks and smile as a shiver goes up my spine.
Jaxon looks at our hands together and intertwined them together. He looks up at me and smiles a big happy smile.
I know that I probably just made his day.
"I'm sorry that I'm not what you were expecting for a mate"
"Why would you say that. I have been waiting for years for my mate. A week ago I honestly believed that the moon goddess forgot about me. THat she didn't want to give me a mate. I could honestly say that I am so grateful to have you. To even have a mate. I know that you are still getting used to the whole werewolf thing. but I will go at your pace. I just want to be with you"
I smile "Aww. that's really cute, you know"
He smiles at me and blushes.
"It will take time. But I am willing to get to know you and work up to the whole mates thing. One thing. Will I always feel sparks when we touch?"
He nods "Yeah once you shift into your wolf it gets stronger. "
I nod in understanding.
We start to eat our breakfast. It was originally for me, but I forced him to eat it with me.

Jaxon and I have gotten really close and we know a lot about each other. The more we are together, the more the mate bond grows.
I can go up to an hour away from him. That's it.
One night we ended up watching a movie in my room and we fell asleep only to wake up the next morning to find out.
Ever since that night, I have not been able to sleep without being close to him. Like in the same room. So we sleep in my room. Every night. I think he is happy to be able to hold me in his arms.
his face lights up whenever I ask him to sleep in my room with me.
I'm sure that the mate bond is even stronger for him, with him having a wolf already.
I think within the day I would be ready for him to mark me. I was still nervous, but I was ready.
That night I walked into his room where he was getting ready for bed.
I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his waist from behind.
he puts his hands on my arms "Hello love"
I smile. I love it when he calls me love.
I turn him around to be able to see his reaction for what I am about to say.
"Will you mark me?"
His face lights up "Really?!?! You're gonna let me mark you? Are you ready for it?"
I nod. "I'm ready. I want you to mark me. Right now. Please"
He smiles "As you wish"
He kisses me on the lips. We kiss for a while. We made our way to the bed and he laid me down and came to hover over me. he leans down and kisses me some more.
He kisses his way down to my neck.
He kisses where he is gonna put his mark.
A shiver runs down my spine.
His canines elongate and he bites my neck carefully.
After he pulled away he licks the blood off my neck and smiles down at me.
I was feeling a little weak. I remember him telling me that I would be sleepy after he marked me. Jaxon lies next to me and wraps his arms around me.
'Good night my love. Sleep well."
After a couple of minutes when I was 99% asleep, I heard a voice say three words to me.
"I love you"
