I kept running, tears streaming down my face. I don’t know why I always cry when I’m around Zev. He frustrates me, yet I can’t seem to stay away from him.
My vision blurred as my eyes filled with tears. I couldn’t see clearly anymore and suddenly collided with something, sending me crashing to the ground. As I hit the ground, I was thrown into a trance.
I hate him so much.
“No, you don’t hate Zev. You hate yourself, Thalia. That’s why you let him get to you. You keep forgetting who you are,” the voice in my head whispered.
Everything turned white, and I found myself standing alone in a closed, white space with nothing around me.
