Introduction to Characters

Main characters

Mercy Časke - Full name is Mercedes. Her last name means “Sister” in Lakota (she’s Native American). She is basically the “mom” of the group. It does go against her playful nature as the Coyote shifter.

Mahto - His name means “Bear” in Lakota (Native American). His name is fitting since he is the Bear shifter. Commonly, people see him as the tough silent type, but around their “family”, he’s more of the friendly older brother.

Markus - He is the rogue, fearing getting attached to anyone. Yet he can’t help but start to love their “family”. He’s the stallion, which explains his wild behavior.

Max - She is commonly known as “Mad Max” since she is violent and sometimes comes off as mad (insane). She is the wolverine shifter, which explains her attitude as violent and easily set off. 

Kelsey - She is the adorable small one of the “family”, easily hurt and she cries a lot. She’s the Kestrel, and despite her fragile emotional state she is really intelligent.

Leo - he is the jokester of the group, which makes sense if you look at the fact that he is the fox shifter. He is also fond of flirting with any woman that breathes. However, he does have a soft spot for Evangeline.

Evangeline - They tend to call her Eva, shes the “Pretty Girl”, making sense when you look at the elegance of her animal, an Arctic Fox. She has a soft spot for Leo.

Gary Laughingdog - He is the oldest of them, like a father to the group. He’s Mercy’s mentor and the only one that was ever a real father to her. He’s a very traditional Native American man, often wearing robes and chanting around drums. His animal is the Sabertooth Cat.

Jorden - Hes the newest addition to their group, having joined only a week prior. He is the loner type, making sense when you look at his animal: Snow Leopard.
