Daemon is healing nicely and has been out of the hospital for a few days. We started taking long walks around the castle to get him moving again, but now that he’s back to training, we do them to spend time together. It’s an excellent way to get away from everything and spend time together.
“I’m telling you, it’s not going to happen, so drop it.” We heard Axel’s booming voice from down the hall. I looked at Daemon briefly before we both started running towards the door. We stopped outside of it and heard Xaphan respond.
“She should stand trial! Or that son of yours should! They violated the terms of our agreement!”
