Finding Her

Silas Pov

I’ve looked for Aurora for two years, I was just a day late. Why did she leave the pack?

My men are looking for her but they find nothing.

The vampire royal coven needs a leader of royal blood, Aurora is the only surviving one.

The coven is so large that we divided it into six branches, and are led by ambassadors. Vampires are not like werewolves they can’t be kept together without the royals.

The door to my office burst open and Jasper walks in.

“Silas, We found her ….The lost princess,”

“W.. what are you sure?” I get up from my seat.

“Positive sir, blue-green, shiny, golden hair, fair skin ….rare combination actually,” I glare at him, he enjoys teasing me, he knows just how important this is to me

” Anyways I’ve used some satellites around and I used the ‘eye' machine to find her,”

“I don’t care just tell me her location now, “ I ask anxiously.

“Hmmm someone is anxious,” He tries to wink but fails, I glare at him.

" Aurora Wulfric goes by many names," I raise my eyebrow at that. What does he mean?

" Why?"

" I don't know but she is a model, a recognized one, she does it all runway, commercial, print, also fashion…..she works hard and plays hard from the pictures. I don’t know why we didn’t find her sooner actually she’s in all over that magazines, commercials, advertising products and so much,”

I grab the files from his hands. She has been an ambassador of so many different brands out there.

I am impressed, am so proud of her. Aurora is doing what she has always wanted to do, be a model and appear on TV and in magazines.

I’ve found her, I'm so happy. I look through the pictures, she’s smiling for the camera but that’s not how her eyes light up. She changes her appearance quite often, no wonder we weren’t able to find her.

Five hours later, Jasper and I are at a hotel in Canada, we go wear tuxedos and go to the Lingerie fashion show.

“Jasper are you sure it’s alright for us to be here? she will be walking almost naked,” I smile, I haven’t seen her since she was fourteen.

“I don’t know about you but I love it, " he says with a mischievous grin.

I wish to punch that sly smile off his face

The lights are dim, and the music starts to play, Aurora is the first to come out, and people clap while others take pictures.

She doesn't look very different, just a lot taller now, slender figure, more beautiful. Her smooth white skin is flawless and she is wearing a black wig but I can see her eyes, she walks elegantly and gracefully in the sexiest lingerie.

Erotic thoughts cloud my head but I shake them off, Aurora is seventeen and I'm 105 years trapped in a body of a 28-year-old.

After the show is over, some reporters are still taking pictures, and I didn't get a chance to talk to her, so we go straight to her hotel room.

“Jas, we need a keycard,”

"And how do you suppose we do that?” he asks with a frown

Jasper is a vampire, a newbie, and has a hard time controlling himself around blood. He’s a warrior at the coven, and one of the royal guards. Their duty is to the royal family. The guards are lethal and stronger than other vampires

I look over to Jasper who is already flirting with one of the staff. Soon he comes back, we enter the princess' room, it smells like alcohol, there are empty bottles everywhere looks like she’s a vodka girl

“Your girl likes getting high huh,” Japer muses, we look around the room. I go to the balcony to check for her but rush back in when I hear noises, I find Jasper on the ground pinned down and complaining like a girl.

“What are you doing here? Who sent you here?” Aurora is on top of the royal guard, with a gun pressed on Jasper's head.

“ Talk or I’ll blow your brains out,”

“Aurora?” I call in almost a whisper, she looks at me with a shock on her face.

“Silas…oh my. Silas what are you…how?” she stammers, I can’t stop smiling, I missed this girl so much

“Can you get off me now, please? am with him,” Jasper groans. I roll my eyes, Aurora beat him

“Oh, sorry “ The princess mutters and gets off him. She smiles and jumps into my arms. I hold her tenderly tight.

I try to pull away but she shakes her head profusely, does she think I'll leave again?

She abruptly pulls away and signals us to keep quiet and hide as we hear a knock on the door. She doesn’t look alarmed but reluctant to open but does.

“Everything ok? We heard noises,”

“Ya, I was drinking and tripped on a bottle,” She says nonchalantly.

“Okay, rest. You look drunk, Robert wants us back to the base tomorrow, mission well done by the way,” The tall blonde man is smiling at her. She smiles back

" Thanks, Raf,"

She whispers before closing the door. Who are they? I saw them keeping a watchful eye on her earlier.

We are sitting in the small salon and listening quietly as Aurora tells me everything about her life. Starting with the organization called the base.

I have to get her out, she has thousands of vampires under her command, an impenetrable castle, and a mighty dragon.

Yet they think they can control her by threatening her brother, and Pack.

" I have something to tell you, as well," I inhale.

She is silent as I tell her the truth, just sniffling softly. Finding out that the woman who raised her is not her biological mother, memories erased by the coven witch, Genevieve

I explain how everything works and how she’ll oversee and lead the six coven

“Why didn’t dad tell me anything?” she croaks.

“He was trying to protect you, the royal coven wasn’t safe for you back then but now thanks to your mum, Queen Elaina, the evil witch is gone for good,” this time it’s Jasper who answers, he looks serious.

“Elaina,” she whispers her mother’s name with a small smile.

The next day, Aurora asks Robert if she can stay a while longer in Canada for some deals and he accepts. I travel back with her at the coven.

These have been the best days, Aurora knows how to work and have fun, after introducing her to the whole coven, the ambassadors respect and slowly accepting of her except ambassador Evelyn, but my princess put her in place, I still remember the look on Evelyn's face in the meeting when Aurora didn’t let her intimidate her and reminded her who the Queen is. Her aura was like a volcano, every member of the royal coven bowed to her, afterward, a wave of calmness filled the room, like healing after pain, the serenity after a war.

Our royal vampire coven is in the crescent stone city though not visible to any creatures but us.

I’ve told Aurora about the company, she knows one or two about running a business since she is doing an online course. In the few days she has been here, she and Jasper are getting close, he’s very protective of her in a brotherly way of course.

I'm in the salon, reading a novel when she grabs it from my hands. I look up with a scowl.

“I've been wanting to see my mother's room, can I now?" Her voice is unsure. I nod and lead her there. The suite is still intact and neat.

“I remember this room..she used to braid my hair or comb it right here, it hasn’t changed at all,” Aurora smiles softly going to touch the bed.

“Would you like it if you slept in here when you are around?"

“Yes, Thank you,”

We stay silent. She gets up and asks

“Want to play games with me?” Aurora has a mischievous expression on her face.

“Hmm, what kind?”

“ Mortal Combat, I’ll take Kitana,” With that, she runs out of the room to the entertainment room. The castle has many rooms, and it's just us and a few servants since most vampires in their coven mansions are not far from here.

After playing video games, we play truth or dare with tequila shots, if one fails to answer, you drink gosh she had so many questions as did I, Aurora confessed that I was her first crush.

“How much did we drink Silas? I am so drunk!” she screams, indeed we had a lot, I don’t drink this much but this girl is making me.

“I missed you,” she comes close to cup my face, her intense gaze is fixated on me, what is happening?

“I did too, for two years I've thought only about you, Aurora, "

she suddenly kisses me softly on my lips and I respond without hesitation, what’s wrong with me? she’s seventeen

“You're drunk,” I pull away from her.

"and you're hot," she retorts then giggle.

“Were both drunk, don’t think too much about it Silas, just live in the moment,” She says seductively in my ear as she straddles me.

She is silently looking at me, tears brimming in her eyes. I love Aurora so much but I want her to be happy and complete with her other half.

“How do I look?” she smiles.
