Sinara whispered, “Come your highness. Torrin wishes to see you now.” I glanced at Miralia, still asleep beside me. Nodding, I carefully rolled out of bed, trying not to disturb the blankets. Sinara slipped on my robe before directing me towards my room. As I neared my door, I heard a sharp deafening c***k. It rumbled through the castle, causing my chest to constrict. The groaning intensified. I flung the door open to see Torrin standing by my window.
