" A d-date?" she asks me in confusion. She can be so innocent sometimes. I smile widely at her cuteness and take her hand in mine. " Yes! Just me and you. Without Hiram and Marinette." I said that because we hardly ever go out alone without those too but now I want to set the ground for the both of us. We should get to going out together so when we become a couple, we are used to it.
" I-I don't know... I don't t-think it is a good idea" she replies nervously looking at the floor. She tries to pull back the hand I'm holding but I grip firmly on it.
" Don't worry, I won't make you uncomfortable. It can just be a casual outing but still for the two of us " I say to reassure her that I won't push for anything romantic.
