I hardly ever slept last night. I kept tossing and turning. Felix offered me a sleeping pill but I refused to take one. This was beyond any sleeping pill. I just let him hold me while he slept. I woke up in the morning so I could prepare something for Marinette. Felix was still sleeping so I broke free from his embrace and went in the shower. I was quick and wore a long floral dress. The pain in my body was still there so I took painkillers for it.
I sighed and tied my hair in a ponytail. I was in no mood to put on makeup so I went out without any. I went into the kitchen and cooked chicken soup for her. One thing my mother taught me.
