This is what I live for. To see Anna happy. All her life she has been through a lot and is still going through a lot. Today I took a gamble and it paid off. I was able to accomplish my mission. All I wanted was to see her beautiful smile. It has been a while since I saw a smile so wide and carefree. She was like a child again.
I held her in my arms as she slept like a baby. She definitely overdid it today. I was spent as well but I am not at all complaining even though my body is a bit sore. I sighed and pulled Anna closer to me and nuzzled my head on her shoulder. She moaned and stirred a little but she didn't wake up. I let out a breath of relief.
