I honestly never thought I would ever be genuinely happy without Lis by my side.
But, I managed to conquer my demons inside my head that made my life hell, just as Casey said.
With all those thoughts aside, Casey never really left my mind and I can now say that we are dating. She's not my girlfriend yet. I want to give us some more time before we go on that stage.
We have all the time on the world.
"This gift is for Joshua. From Casey." I stood up from my seat to get the gift and went back to sit down beside Casey.
It's gift giving day and I invited Casey, Mike, and Chase over to celebrate the day with us. It's also Christmas, which means we'll be eating a hella lot of food later.
