Chapter XCIX- HOLIDAYS PART II I’m really glad I tagged along. Ben must’ve been twice as glad as I am. Venice only sat in the back seat without saying much except ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and a few little words. If Ben was alone with her, he would probably die of awkwardness. Most of the time we were the only ones speaking while Venice was only looking out the window. She seemed much gloomier than yesterday. And even when Ben and I are talking and laughing all throughout the ride, it was so obvious that he’s worried about her. I would always catch him stealing glances at her. There were also times that I unconsciously dozed off for a few minutes, leaving the two of them awkwardly silent. But worry not, I’m trying my best to extract a few words out of Venice’s mouth.
