Chapter LXVIII- VETO August’s POV Suzanne started to avoid me. I don’t know if it’s on purpose but she definitely became so distant. I think I know the reason but I got scared to talk to her. I was scared to confront her and I didn’t have any time. It was that Wednesday at noon at the cafeteria when I finally realized the consequences of what I’ve been doing for the past few days. It was such a bad start for the new month. The first time was when it was the lunch break and I was feeling hungry as I didn’t eat breakfast that morning. It was drizzling for quite a few days now so I always had to leave the house an hour earlier because we’ll never know if I'll be stuck if it starts to rain heavily.
