| LALA | There was darkness. Darkness everywhere. I don’t remember how I got here, but one thing was for sure—I wanted out. This place gives me the heebie-jeebies. A splash of water on my face finally brought me out of that darkness like pulling off a Band-Aid. I gasped for air, instantly wishing for the darkness to return. “Welcome back, princess,” Angelo chuckled before lightly taping my face with his palm.
