"I want to see Calla this morning," Rose announced at breakfast. "Maryk, can you drop me off there?"
Maryk glanced at Zale.
"I can"t today. I"m leaving right away for Kalmut," Zale said.
Rose eyed him warily. Was he leaving them? Had last night been too much?
"There are some… things that need to be dealt with."
