My mind couldn’t get any more jumbled as we stared at each other. It was months since we had last seen each other and he had left with a bad scenario. My heart is beating fast and my palms are getting sweaty from the nerves I’m feeling. It’s like a dream; he’s in front of me, in the same room as me, showing his beautiful grin that made me fall in love with him over and over again.
“Shall we get this meeting started, Mr. Walker?” he said making me gulp loudly. That voice, oh sweet Jesus, how long had it been since I’d last heard that voice?
My heart is racing a million beat per second. His face looked calm and his smile directed to me has jumbled my insides into quivering, shivering mess. The fact that he could do this much to me is both fascinating and depressing.
