Amelia remained motionless, Dominic took a bowl of water from the bathroom he spilled some on Amelia she woke up in fear panting in horror then Dominic smiled little cupcake you have got me there, she pleaded sir I am sorry I don’t know what my parents collected from you but I promise to pay you just let me go home and I can also help in cleaning please she cried in anguish. Dominic gave a Dreadful smile and raised her from the floor sleep little princess he whispers, Amelia’s whole body was stiff with horror, Dominic left the room, Amelia stumbled to her feet and locked the door.

Amelia woke up that morning pondering on how she had been so happy even when they had nothing, how she and her mum had sang while her dad danced, how they were all living in a peaceful and tiny building yet it was lively, But right here in Dominic Elegant mansion she felt emptiness, loneliness, and sadness, as she was deep in her thought a soft knock startled her, she said come in, a maid came in bringing her Breakfast Good morning miss the maid said faintly, I am Clara the house keeper you saw yesterday night I couldn’t introduce myself yesterday because I noticed you were unhappy, Amelia managed to smile I am fine she said, “ you dont know to pretend “ Clara said I know all is not well, I don’t know what to do, I feel lost I have never been to any place apart from my village, Clara smiled you have survived last night you will certainly survive the rest days, Clara was cheerful and filled with love for Amelia she knew she was still a child and wanted her to feel comfortable with her, If you need anything ring the bell Clara carefully closed the door.

Amelia glanced through the beautiful paintings in her room, she peeped through the windows like she always do back at home she could see gigantic buildings and a well tarred road with very beautiful flowers surrounding them, for the first time since the past two days she had felt some relief, she climbed her bed and opened her breakfast it was nothing like the one she eats back at home this looked different more appealing, mouthwatering, and sumptuous yet she has no appetite back at home she will devour a plate of food like her life depended on it why is today different she said to herself, I am going to be strong and survive everyday I have to stay in this place she smiled, Inside the room Amelia stood at the window she could see the maids working and under a beautiful tree Dominic sat piercing his eyes through some documents he looked furious, Amelia quickly closed the curtain, fear griped her for sometime she thought about the previous night how he wants to have his way with her she said within her mind, can I also survive today’s night.

A car drove through the gate into the compound Amelia could hear the sound of a car she peeped through her window, A cute man in his thirties came down from the car, he walked straight to Dominic and try to whisper some few words to him Amelia could see Dominic telling his body guards to excuse them, Amelia said to herself what could they be discussing “is it about me” she mutters, she closed the curtain and laid on the bed trying to get some sleep. The door cracked as if someone was trying to open it, Amelia was fast asleep with sunlight radiating through her silky dark hairs, A deep voice woke her up, she sat on her bed firmly using her hand to rub her eyes, hey little princess I am Xavier Damien, Dominic’s younger brother he was cute, Amelia quickly recognized him as the man she had saw earlier talking to Dominic outside the apartment, did I interrupt your sleep he said Amelia replied shyly “No” you are really a pretty little thing you know, she frowned Xavier winked at her I know you know a lot of things like BJ Amelia smirked what is that sir? Amelia sluggishly got up from her bed and wore a very long gown which has some holes around her neck making her look like a stray girl, Dominic and Xavier was already on the table eating, Amelia slowly sat on the dinning chair to eat, Dominic looked at her scornfully and screamed sit on the ground that is where you belong, Amelia quickly sat on the ground eating shakily they both laughed at her continuously. Xavier poured out some red wine on the ground and ordered her to use her tongue to scrub the ground, she hesitated but Xavier stood up and forcefully bent her head to the ground to lick all of it, tears rolling down her cheeks she screamed leave me alone you devil, Xavier slapped her face angrily, Shut up you swine, she cried in disgust faintly praying for someone to come to her rescue, after dinner she went into her room with sadness she cried aloud inside her she keep pondering will Dominic be coming back tonight?
