I locked the door from the inside and sat on the bed. I didn't want anyone to come inside mid-conversation.
“I started looking into Rex when Andre talked about him, I found it weird that a police officer and a man like Jaylen were close friends_”
“They have been friends since childhood so I don't think their occupation matters,” I cut Antonio short.
“Obviously that's what anyone would think but that isn't the case, do you know Rex had an elder sister,” I shook my head forgetting he couldn't see me, “Jaylen was a Minor while Rex's sister wasn't but she died from drug overdose from Jaylen's hand.”
