“Are you OK?” Xeon asked.
“I'm dizzy… but you’re so handsome–” Mathena replied and began smiling.
The arms wrapped around him tightened and he heard the soft, sweet breath of Mathena. Smiling, she snuggled closer to him. Looking at her in the dim light coming through the nearby lampshade, she looked relaxed and gorgeous as ever. He walked back slowly to his bed and sat while Mathena snuggled even tighter on his chest.
She murmured on his skin, which made Xeon shiver, "Xeon, what are you doing? I mean, what am I doing? Was I drugged?"
"No, sweetheart, just something to make you fall asleep and dream of that incubus again…"
