To his great surprise, Griffin did sleep that night. When he opened his eyes the following morning, however, he felt like he'd been hit by an especially vindictive bus. His legs ached, his head hurt - hell, even his eyeballs hurt. For someone who was used to daily exercise, the hike from the day before had just about killed him. Groaning, he fought his way to his feet, feeling extremely jealous at the ease with which his travelling companions were packing up their meagre belongings.
