The mortal spun around in his seat, his expression comically surprised. It had been rude to sneak up on him like that, but Sibyl didn't care. She'd entered the loft several minutes ago to find him sitting at her desk, nearly asleep. It was when he'd jolted suddenly and bent to retrieve something from the floor that she knew she needed to shock him. He swore loudly when he spotted her standing behind him. She fought hard not to laugh out loud. Any mirth died, however, when she saw the photograph in his hand.
