They followed the fairy around for a few miles. At some point, they walked past what Mikki thought to be an invisible barrier, and suddenly everything changed.
The forest they were at before was now completely different. Mikki couldn't explain, but from Fitz gasping by her side, she knew she wasn't imagining things.
The place was now filled with color, animals, flying shining creatures just like the fairy that was guiding them. It felt like she was staring at a fantasy world, the ones she saw a few times in movies.
