CHAPTER 12: FATHER'S ROOM
JAMES POV
I don’t even remember how many wolves I had killed by now.
I thought there were only ten of them in the hospital. That illusion shattered very quickly,
because their numbers kept increasing with time.
I looked at the old man in disbelief. He was slamming a wolf to the ground.
I called out to him.
"You said they would be finished. How are they supposed to end? They aren't even stopping."
Then he laughed and said,
"James, you can't give up this soon.
Look, I may be older than you, but my strength is still greater than yours. And you are young, and I have already grown old."
I felt intense anger toward him, but I ignored it. I took out that anger on the next wolf that came at me by driving my dagger into its chest.
