The princess of the Lanton Kingdom was not in there at the moment. She had reached the age where she was the one chosen to go to the main academy to serve as the representative of the kingdom. Her brother was staying behind because they had to compete with each other to see who would be the one going. The ones that go to the academy would basically be giving up their rights to the throne. The remained sibling would become the king and/or queen of Lanton as the other would be handling making relations with those of the other kingdoms and nations while they were at the academy.
Making allies was what the princess would do with those that actually wanted to be her ally. Another that stood against her and her goals was able to see the consequence of their actions right away. An attack to bull
