Lexi Lucian hung up the call, staring at me like I was some kind of enemy. “What?” I asked, crossing my arms defensively. “Can I see your phone?” He asked, stepping closer. “No,” I shook my head, stepping away. “You can't just go through my phone without giving me a good reason.” His brows furrowed, and for a split second, I saw anger flash through his eyes. “Were you recording our conversations?” “No,” I answered, “matter of fact, my phone is dead.” He let out a sigh, his tense expression relaxing slightly. “Can we go now?” I asked, eager to get out of there before he decided to interrogate me further.
