JANE'S POV

"I'm so sorry, I should go" I say going to get out of the bed. "Get back into bed" layla says as Liam says "Your not going anywhere. You have nothing to be sorry about. We can handle this. Have a little faith I promise its going to be okay".

I use the vape whilst I think through what I should do. Torn between all the options. But there right people think in in hospital still would be stupid to go out into public leaving this house. "Okay" I say getting back into the bed "Thankyou baby girl. I swear you won't regret this. I'm only telling you to keep you in the loop. I won't keep secrets from you but you can't be running away" Liam says

"I opted to not tell you, I won't lie I was scared you would run and get hurt again" Layla says climbing into the bed with me.

"I know, I'm scared to but I'm more scared for you all. I don't care about me anymore. But all of you I do care about your safety" I say squeezing her hand.

"I know we're all safe here. I'm just scared your run and get hurt again. I can't go through that again" Layla says

"No one needs to be scared. I know your both new to this, I'm glad you know your safe Layla but so is Jane. Its going to be okay" Liam says.

"I know, I trust you" Layla says.

"I don't trust the world outside of these walls" I say "Ooo, good point but the world isn't getting in" Layla says.

"No one is getting in. You two gonna drive me crazy before the hour is out. Now breakfast baby girl eat it. Layla do girl stuff. Anything other than stressing about the reporters" Liam says passing me my breakfast.

"Hate to break it to you but you already crazy, you don't need us for that" I say taking the breakfast. which makes Liam smile at me with daring eyes. "Oh yeah, I went there.. and I'm patient a sick patient so you can't do anything about it" I say giving him a wink because I can tell he is stressed to. He has that worried look ibe had for weeks and if I have to stay here I want to try at least make it easier on everyone even of I'm petrified myself.

"I know what you're doing baby girl. Eat your breakfast and stop worrying" Liam says then he kisses my forehead before standing up and saying "I'll be back soon.. I got to send some emails and male a few calls. I'm in my office if you need me okay?"

"Okay" I say "Okay, we're all okay, no one is freaking out" Layla says

"Your so freaking out. See this is why I shouldn't of come here" I say

"Oh for the love of god. Luke, get in here and deal with your wife! I'm going to get my laptop. I'll work in here today. No one is going anywhere" Liam says but only shouts from when he calls Luke. Who is in his office a few rooms down.

"Alright, I'm coming" Luke shouts back.

"I'm sorry" Layla says "It's alright, I'd be the same if I were you and you were me" I say

"Breakfast, I don't need Dr Vanguard telling me off again. And you Layla stop fretting and I dunno how about you start looking ideas up for the dance studio?" Liam says

"We need basically a full room of mirrors a big room, A music system, Oh make the room sound proof as well. Good flooring, dance pole make it two since I'm teaching you and oh some chairs. We need clothes to" I say giving her some ideas to start with before picking up the croissant.

"Thankyou" Liam says as Luke walks in saying "Okay, I'm here what's up?".

"There worried, really worried. Janes a flight risk. I'm going to get my stuff to work in here today" Liam says.

Luke starts laughing before he says "Sorry Sissy aint no flight risk. Sorry sis but you walking like a snail ain't no way you flying out of here undetected" I pick up the orange and throw it at Luke making everyone except me and Luke laugh as I say "Harsh bro! Harsh, wait till I'm better ill run circles around you".

"That hurt! And I'd like to see you try" Luke says. "Bullshit it hurt. I thought you were some big Mafia boss not scared of s**t but gets hurt by a orange big baby. People tried to kill me and I'm here with my big girls pants on" I say

"I know! Still no need to throw things at me" Luke says and Liam just laughs his way out the room as he says "Oh lord, you two are hilarious".

"Well then don't laugh me at being slow" I say before taking a bite of the croissant.

"I think your feeling a little better today if your bickering" Layla says.

"A little bit the headache is still here but it's better" I say "I'm glad, how's the arm and the body?" Luke asks taking a seat.

"Annoyingly sore still" I say.

"Don't worry I've no doubt your be running circles around me soon for sure" Luke says

"I just wish it would hurry up. I hate being slow and ill and in pain" I say.

"We know, okay so we will get measurements and start ordering stuff for our dance studio yeah?" Layla says

"Yeah, I can't wait to dance again. I can't wait for a decent bubble bath as well" I say.

"I can do your nails if you want" Layla says.

"Yes please, I need to feel pretty again" I say

"You are pretty" Layla says "Yeah, of course you are Sissy. Don't think you are not because you are" Luke says.

"Thanks, but I know I look like a train wreck. the bruising is still on my face. My hair is horrid and tangled in places because it hurts to comb it" I say.

"Don't worry, your be okay" Luke says "Yeah I can tackle the hair as well. You know I can" Layla says and I don't doubt Layla, if we hadn't become midwives she would definitely made it big in the make uo industry for sure.

"I know, okay surpise me with something nice for my nails today. Luke make me a hot chocolate pleaseeeee, I'm on bed rest after all" I say followed by pleading hands together and a smile that hurts my head.

"Okay, once Liam gets back he may kill me if I leave" Luke says then layla disappears to get all the stuff she needs.

LIAM'S POV

I look up to see Layla standing on the bed as they sing then she holds out her hand to Jane as she says "Come on one dance, we can dance on the bed your still technically in the bed" which makes Jane laugh

"Don't even think about it, Dr Vanguard will kill me" I say pointing at my baby girl who looks at me our eyes meet and she smirks before saying "So" she took it as a dare! The women is going to give me a heart attack I think as she takes Laylas hand.

"Luke" I shout before nearly dropping my laptop as I move it aside moving towards the bed I say "Do you want to gi back to hospital? Are you crazy?"

"Land myself in hospital from dancing in a bed sounds way more fun that landing in there by thugs" Jane says smiling again as she stands up holds Laylas hand and starts to dance a little by swaying her hips

"Layla, Jane! what on earth!" Luke says coming in "Excaulty! It's your turn to be the bad guy before Dr Vanguard shows up as well. Your wife is a bad influence" I say throwing my hands in the air.

"I'm all for fun but Jesus chirst get back to bed rest Sissy and honey I swear we be having words" Luke says making them both laugh.

"How are we Mafia bosses and these women just laugh at us" I say raking my hand through my hair. That just makes them laugh even harder. "Oh come just one song? I'm barely dancing!" Jane pleads.

"I don't doubt that I know you can dance dance but Sissy please what if you fall?" Luke says

"Excaulty!" I say waving my arm in the air with despair. "How about I make you a deal. When your better you can have the whole VIP section at the club and dance as much as you want even have the dj at your request all night long" Luke says

"We want dancing poles as well" Jane says and my eyes pop out dancing poles in a studio is one thing but the club I'm.gonna have a heart attack for sure! "No" I say ad luke says "Sure have the whole club for the whole night only me and Liam as your bar staff and DJ though" "Deal" I say changing my mind "Done" Jane says smiling as she sits down.

"You drive a hard bargain bit you forgot food" Layla says "I'll buy you whatever you want to eat to" I say fearing Jane will get. ack up again. "Deal" layla says smiling as she sits down. "Thankyou" Luke says "Yeah what you think of Jane's nails?" Layla asks and Jane shows off her nails more confidently than she did to me when layla made her. They pretty and cute silver glitter tips but the rest look more like natural nails.

"There beautiful, do they make you feel more pretty?" Luke asks and Jane looks at me before quickly looking at Liam as she says "Of course what women doesn't feel pretty after getting nails or nail etc done".

"You know what I mean Sissy, you were harsh on yourself this morning. They helped make you feel better though?" Luke says again and once again Jane looks at me quickly before looking at Luke as she says "Yes they helped me feel a little better. My face is still battered but I have pretty nails" and I put the pieces together.

"You look beautiful no matter what" I say

"See told you" Layla says "I did try telling her, but she has taken quite a knock not just physically mentally to. I think some online shopping is in order. Layla make sure you both spend until your happy" Luke says

"I don't need to shop" Jane says

"urgh I do, we're shopping" layla says

"Shop Sissy, it will make me happy if it makes you happy please" Luke says and I feel like I'm taking notes. I know all females are different and I know Hane is very independent its usually Layla who helps get Jane to cave to allow us to buy drinks on a night out.

"You nearly died on me Sissy, I'm useless at buying get well gifts so spoil yourself you deserve it. if nails makes you feel better ship until you feel amazing my treat. No arguements plus I need to thank you for them moves you taught Layla" Which makes Jane smile and cave as she says okay I'll buy something but not much"

"Honey, I want to be morning about how much I've to carry upstairs make her shop shop" with that Luke leaves again as Jane says "This isn't over with Luke" "Oh but it so is" Luke says laughing and I know he ran tbe rest of way worried of the come back that I can't help laughing myself as I resume my spot to go back to the work at hand.

"It's not funny" Jane says pointing at me.

"I'm laughing at Luke running away" I say holding my hands up in surrender. "Okay you better be" Jane says "I promise baby girl. Not many people have me and Luke running buy he just ran that last bit away It's funny how you two can keep us in check!" I say which makes Jane and Layla laugh. "Told you, there amusing" Layla says through her laughter. "Agreed" Jane says.

"What's amusing?" I ask "Scary Mafia bosses it's really hard to believe" Jane says laughing. Then adds "I mean standard men where not scared of me. No look at me they were not scared to take me down. But Luke runs away" Then the laughter stops as she starts crying.

"Hey, they were not men. They needed weapons and four of the fuckers. They were not men they were cowards!" Layla says quickly hugging Jane.

"Real men don't physically hurt women" I say moving the laptop aside again.
