After a visit with mom I somehow felt relieved. As I was eating lunch Connie suddenly interfere.. Hey have you heard the news? What news? There’s a new resident Doctor who came here yesterday.. He’s in the cardiology department… And guess what I just saw him.. Not to mention his looks.. He’s the goddess of handsomeness. Some say he’s the best surgeon, he’s skilled, talented and smart ..hayst how can one man have everything.. I smiled at her gestures.. looks like you already know him. It's more than that I feel so lucky that I was assigned to cardiology department.. Putting her hands in her face.. My heart’s been beating irregular every time I saw him.. Oh my gosh! I was startled at her reaction.. I think I’m in love .. I can see that.. Hmm but I think you have a fever putting my palm in here forehead .. I think you might have a serious problem … it’s love sickness should I say.. I burst into laughter as Connie frown at me.. I know the cure for it.. STOP DAY DREAMING… she went serious.. Really? They woman smiled at me and told me that her father a chest problem.. She spoke to me in a calm voice.. My father has been feeling tired recently… and he seems to catch his breath, her father suddenly reaches for her hands said in a clam and assuring voice it’s fine Kate you don’t need to worry about me besides you have work today I can’t just let you take me and leave your work.. Her daughters eyes has worries all over.. Dad I know there is something wrong with you and I can tell that you’re having trouble in your body so please tell the doctor what other symptoms you have she can help you… He looked at his worried daughter.. He smiled and said we’ll then… Mr. Gonzalez look at me and said I’ve always felt pain in my chest and sometimes it’s really difficult to breath I also felt dizzy and faint.. I stand up as I grab my stethoscope .. okay take a deep breath inhale exhale.. again inhale exhale… Your heart beats slow how long do you have this symptoms… About a month ago.. And did you take some medications for it? No I just thought it’s a small problem and it might be best if I could just ignore it and think that it will be gone away. I also have a stroke last year so I just thought that it might be the side effects but I never really pay attention to it. . I see you have history of stroke. Since you have these symptoms and a history of stroke ..You’re condition would be Coronary Artery Disease.. What is it doc. Is my father’s condition worse? She looked at me with worried eyes.. Well it’s a condition that affects a person who also suffer from heart attack, stroke, and heart failure, your father has these symptoms already . I know there’s something wrong with you dad after the stroke you had I never thought your condition could get worse. I should have paid more attention to you.. sigh.. Dear it’s alright I also didn’t expect these to happen his father told her in a clam voice. Doc can we get another opinion for this.. She asked.. Of course you can … I’ll refer you a cardiologist just to be sure and for the mean time take this prescription it for the chest pain and dizziness you feel.. As he take the prescription I told him to come over tomorrow so that I could make arrangements for you. Is that okay with you? Of course Doc. Thank you so much. I smiled at him and pat his back and turn to his daughter…. don't worry your father will be fine alright reassuring her. Thanks doc see you tomorrow.. Alright take care. .. I called to Grace and ask.. Grace do we have more patient today ? So far Mr. Gonzales is the last one , great then can you come to my office? Sure thing doc I’ll be there. She knocks and opens my door.. What is it doc?. Are there any cardiologist that you could recommend me, Mr. Gonzalez is suffering from Coronary Artery Disease and they needed a second opinion . Well, I heard there’s a new doctor a surgeon at cardiology department so I guess be might be expect in that some say here’s really good at it. I’ll call the cardiology department if he’s available and make an appointment. After a few minutes Grace came back joyfully. Doc, good news were in luck today the new resident Doctor has agreed with your appointment his name is Doctor Brad Addison. Thank you so much Grace, I smiled at her and said I’ll head there now.
