I finally arrived at Crimson hospital, it is one of the most acknowledge hospitals in the country it is known for its serve and dedication towards it’s patients, it is also one of dad’s shareholders, that explains why I work there. As I enter my office I carefully put my bag on the side and grab my doctors coat and started to log in my computer to check data. Being a physician is one of my dreams, helping people out when they don’t feel well, when I told my dad I wanted to be a doctor he just simply told me “good, at least I don’t have to pursue you to become one. I’ve already make preparations for you at Yansville University. Thanks dad I’ll go with that. Of course I couldn’t choose or say no to him. “Good morning Doc. Elaine,” Grace greeted me. Morning grace I smiled at her. So here’s the list of the patients who make appointments yesterday, handing me the list . “Okay thanks Grace” just buzz me if you want anything giving me a thumbs up, she replied and left. Now let’s start the day I whispered to myself. Time flies so fast that it's almost lunch time. Luckily I’ve already tend some of my patients. I grab my phone and went to Grace. I’m going to the cafeteria for lunch you wanna come? In a minute doc I’ll just finish this paperwork’s .. Okay don’t skip lunch I smiled at her and left. Looks like some doctors and nurses are here. My phone suddenly beeps it was Connie “wanna grab some lunch? I’m already here.. I’ll wait for you then. I replied.. As I grab my try of food.. Connie caught my eyes ..hey! running towards me .. let’s sit over there.. Sure I told her.. then I’ll get some food. She finally put her plate on the table .. You can’t believe what happened earlier. Why what happened I asked her.. A patient from room 206 went hysterical knowing that her mom went out to buy some medicine. She thought her mom leave her, she screamed and cried. Tsk I guess there’s no room for mother and daughter relationship. .. How is she ? I asked.. She’s fine now thankfully her mom was fast. Since she got admitted she never spoke a word she only talks to her mom. I see.. she’s just close to her mom and didn’t trust anybody. Yeah her mom told me when her husband died she only had her daughter most of their relatives abandoned them. How unfortunate. Connie added . At least they have each other I hope they can overcome whatever problems they may face. I told her smiling.. Which reminds me is your dad still.. “yes he is”.. Oh, but you know what it’s good that you’re dad made you work here so that we can be together. Yeah I never thought you’d work here too… smiling at her.. Are kidding me me it’s the best hospital in the country and besides there’s a lot of handsome doctors around here he.. he.. he.. I just laugh at her silliness. (flashback) Connie and I met when we were in high school I thought no one would like to be my friend.. because they saw me as a competition and wall that could block their way. But she stood up for me when I got bullied and eventually we became friends. When we were in college I never thought we go on separate university.. She went for Spane University while I go to Yansville when dad heard of it he offered scholarship on Connie and I was very happy for it Connie was overjoyed ..We never lost contact I’ve always call and message her whenever I’m free. She’s the kind of person I really on and share my worries with and of course she’s witty at times. (end of flashback)..Look at you too eating without me.. Jamie crossed his arms looking at us. We never knew you’d like to join us.. You also didn’t message us Connie added while frowning at him. Alright I know I was late I got so many rounds this morning I was back and forth and I had to go to Dr. Eve to make request because a patient wants to go home already. Haahhh.. What a day.. he explains… I guess there are a lot of patients today than I expected. Yes you said it right Dr. Elaine. Then go get some lunch and we’ll wait for you …Hurry up mines almost done Connie added. Okay wait for me .. Jamie is Connie’s friend in the hospital before I came here. They look cute together I could tell sooner or later one of them will confess their feelings for each other, they could make a wonderful couple.
