By the time morning rolled in,, Oliver was in a stranger’s bathroom with hot water cascading over his skin. His mind was looping through the things that happened last night– the hands that had traced his skin, the soft, warm lips that had met his in heated urgency. It was a one-night stand, but a damn good one. No strings attached or expectations– merely a fleeting moment of pleasure. And honestly? He had no regrets.
By the time he got back to the apartment, he felt refreshed, a smirk settling on his lips.
Sebastian was sitting on the couch, browsing through his phone but looking quite unbothered.
Oliver did not say anything at first. Instead, he walked past him, pulling off his shirt on his way to his room which left him in nothing but loose shorts. He was not really trying to be obvious..just comfortable. But, Sebastian’s gaze darted over him for a brief moment which he sure as hell noticed.
Oliver bit back a grin and muttered to himself. This could be fun. He tossed his bag onto the chair in his room before heading to his closet to change into some clean clothes. There was a T-shirt and some sweatpants but the second he held them up, he changed his mind. Nah..too safe. Too normal.
Instead, he reached for one of his favorite boxers—the snug red one that sat just right on his hips. On a normal day he would wear a shirt but not today.
When he walked back into the living room, Sebastian was still seated on the couch with his phone in his hand, but his eyes moved up the second Oliver entered.
He smirked slowly. "Fun night?"
Oliver met his gaze, he looked completely nonchalant as he strolled into the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water, twisted off the cap, and took a sip before replying.
"Yeah," he said, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Pretty fun."
He could still feel Sebastian's eyes on him as he leaned against the counter of the kitchen.
And that? That was exactly what he wanted.
Instead of sitting anywhere else in the spacious living room, he deliberately dropped down next to Sebastian—closer than necessary.
Sebastian didn’t look up immediately, but after a second, he side-eyed him. There were literally other seats.
"You good?" His tone was casual, but the underlying question was clear—why are you sitting so close?
Oliver stretched his arms above his head, a slow movement that made his toned stomach peek through the waistband of his shorts. "Yeah," he replied easily. "Just wanna get a clearer view." He said feigning innocence.
Sebastian huffed a short laugh, shaking his head. “Of what?”
But Oliver didn’t answer. He just smirked and leaned back into the couch, his body still close enough for their shoulders to nearly touch.
They sat in silence for a while with the occasional sound of the TV filling the space. Then, out of nowhere a pillow smacked into the side of Sebastian’s head.
Seb blinked, momentarily thrown off. "What the—?"
Oliver was already grinning, his body slightly brushing against Sebastian’s as he adjusted his position. "You looked too serious. Thought I would loosen you up a bit."
Sebastian scoffed, chucking the pillow back at Oliver. "Yeah? Try harder”.
Oliver, still amused, nudged him with his elbow this time, a little firmer. “Is that a challenge?”.
Sebastian caught his arm, his fingers wrapping around Oliver’s wrist before he could pull away. The teasing should’ve ended there—a shove back, a scoff, anything—but it did not.
For a beat too long, neither of them moved.
Sebastian’s grip was not tight, but it was there. Their arms were still connected, Oliver could feel his skin warm under his touch.
Oliver glanced up at him, lips slightly parted like he wanted to say something but didn’t.
And then—Sebastian’s phone rang.
The sharp, intrusive sound shattered the moment.
Seb let go instantly, like he had been caught doing something he was not supposed to. He fished the phone from his pocket, glancing at the screen– s**t, Rissa.
He exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah?" His voice was clipped when he answered.
Oliver watched as Sebastian nodded along to whatever she was saying, his entire demeanor shifting.
“I’ll be there soon,” Seb muttered before standing up, already grabbing his keys. He did not even look at Oliver as he left, just a casual, "Later," which he tossed over his shoulder before the door shut behind him.
Oliver leaned back into the couch, exhaling through his mouth. So much for that.
He really does like Rissa huh?. He thought, feeling completely unhappy that she had Sebastian’s attention whenever she wanted.

Sebastian’s POV:
Sebastian sat in his car outside the café where Rissa was waiting. He had not moved yet.
His fingers tapped on the steering wheel as his mind moved somewhere else.
That moment in the apartment…
Oliver’s skin against his. The way his fingers felt while holding Oliver's. The subtle hint of something that glimmered in his eyes.
He exhaled sharply and shook his head. What the f**k was that?
It's fair enough that he was just being flirtatious and playful, just like him.. it's nothing serious.
So why the hell did it feel like there's something more?
His phone buzzed again and it was a text from Rissa.
[Where are you?]
Sebastian ran his hands on his face, pushing down the frustration bubbling inside him.
He needed to get a grip.
Without another thought, he stepped out of the car and walked inside.
