A Mask

Saint William's prestigious school for those of age was filled with brats and jerks or, so I thought. This school was one that all those who had any relation to the king were allowed to send their children to school to continue their sworn loyalty and purpose throughout the family's generation. This story is about how I was raised in a cage by controlling noble parents and surrounded by ignorant people.  ----------------------------- " Rose Ashton COME DOWN IMMEDIATELY!" My mother called from downstairs, ruining my fantasy of the aftermath from the little incident earlier. I remember the look from the girl's face from when she was in front of me shaking like a snake's rattle. Blood oozed out onto the girl's hand dripping onto the floor from her broken nose. Her gray eyes were wide with fear and red from salty tears. Her blonde hair was a frizzy mess. " Y-you are crazy" she stuttered as she looked down at the white and red-tiled floor like a daughter of a knight should. "I'm more than crazy Ms. Elizabeth"  I whispered into her ear as I walked towards the doors of the garden house where we had tea.  Entering my father's office I saw my mom's long silver hair braided into a bun with strands of blond streaks hugging her perfect face. My mom was flat-chested, but she stood at least 5'9. Even though she was tall she had her modest curves that went well with her kind face. This time she wore a light pink and orange dress that made her sharp blue eyes stand out.  Father had lines across his forehead and eye wrinkles from the stress of his life. He was blessed with light brown hair that was mostly gray at the age of 39. " Good afternoon mother" I looked at her reddening face and crazed eyes. " WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU" She screamed at me clenching her fist ready to punch me. " Everything." I stared coldly back at her red eyes. She must have been drinking again, great. After the family told my parents what happened between me and their daughter my parents decided to get rid of me."  " We are sending you to St. William's Academy." He said sternly. Instead of saying okay I nodded my head waiting for the insulting comment. "Get ready there are coming here in an hour to come to take your ungrateful ass away. You will probably be in your natural habit anyway." My mother laughed like a dumb person. I pinched myself and walked back to my room and started to pack my clothes, dresses, candy, toiletries, and my knife into two big Duffel bags.  " What a pain." I sighed as I tied up my bag and walked up to my mirror. Staring at my dull ice-blue eye and brown one and scarred tan skin in the bathroom mirror. Popping a candy in my mouth and walked down stories when I heard the hooves of horses outside. Rushing downstairs I ran outside, but thankfully our butler opened the door in time or I would have slammed right into it. Stepping into the obnoxious sunlight in front of me was a carriage with gold trim and gems built into its solid black built. Flashy much? Opening the car door I sat on a smooth leather seating. (4 Hours Later) As we started to pull up the academy I put on thin black gloves over my scarred hands and a mask of my face. Soon the car came to a halt in front of a cast-iron gate with the words "St. William Academy" in it. that's one way to state the obvious. The driver rolled down his window pressing a couple of numbers into the keypad. 2 seconds later the gates opened allowing the car to enter. Stopping in front of the fancy high school, the driver quickly came to my side and opened the car door. I griped my bags tighter and walked up the shiny granite stairs towards the unique black and gray school. Pulling my hoodie I opened the red doors and walk onto a shiny dark gray tiled floor. Pretty if Is say so myself. The hall was empty except for a few kids who were probably skipping. Looking around I found the office room and walked up to a woman in her mid-30s.  " My name is Rose Ashton and I'm new here" her noodle eyebrows raised when I told her my name before she called out to the principal to help her out with a transfer student. The door to what was probably his office slowly opened. The office lady's expression darkened as her mind processed the fact that now she would have to walk me there. Slowly getting up her feet shuffled towards the door, her hands were shaking as she pushed the door open allowing me inside first. Walking in I noticed that the principal looked like he was in his mid-50s, but seemed to be pretty laid back by the way he sat in his chair. " Is this the new student Ms. Green?" she nodded and showed him a file that probably had all my information and records on. His eyes glanced at her hands as dark vibes radiated off of him in a split second. " Oh, Rose Ashton! Yes, I totally forgot that she was transferred here today." He exclaimed with a small smile. His big hands reached for a packet from a cabinet beside his maple desk.  " Here you go Ms. Rose" His bubbly personality coming to the surface again when he gave her what looked like her schedule and dorm information. " Thank you, Mr. ? " My usual cold blank face was covered by my innocent heroine mask with an ear to ear smile and my already large eyes sparkling with positive emotions. "Oh please call me Mr. William! " A polite smile grew across his face, but his eyes said something different.  I wonder what... {If there are any mistakes just comment on what it is. I was getting lazy and just wanted to put the story out there}
