Chapter Eleven

A loud noise came from downstairs, causing my eyes to snap open. The sun shined through my window and onto my blood stained floors where my foot prints were embedded. I yawned and turned over on my back to stare at the ceiling. The side of my face was soaked from crying myself to bed last night and my eyes were crusted. I rubbed them and yawned again. As I sat up a pounding headache drilled at the back of my skull. Slowly, I climbed from bed and walked over to my door. Another loud bang came from downstairs so I slipped from my room. My heart pounded against my chest because I had a feeling I already knew who it was and I didn't want to even look at him let alone spend hours with him. After tip toeing down the stairs I peaked around the corner into the kitchen. The front door was left open
