Dominic sat in what was now his office, twirling the key he found from the portrait in his hand. He knew it was important but where was it supposed to open?
“I can't believe you guys actually made progress really quickly on that test", James commented.
“Yeah Lex and I make a really great team", Dominic answered absentmindedly. He was still thinking about the key.
“You still haven't told her how you feel?" James asked.
That question seemed to bring Dominic back to the present as he sighed.
“No. You were right. I've probably said this before but you were right", he said.
“I usually am but about what in this case?" James asked.
“About me being a coward", Dominic answered looking downcast, “I am so scared of being rejected by her. I don't think I'll be strong enough to handle it w
