When Alexa woke up, it was already dark. How long had she been out. Her vision was blurry so she felt for her glasses on the bedside table. She took her phone to check the time and realized it was already night time. She also found a couple of texts from Dominic.
One of them, telling her that he was going on a snack run with James. Another telling her that he had left some food for her in the fridge and the last one telling her that he and James had gone out because he had to catch up with friends.
She decided to use that opportunity to text Courtney and let her know she had arrived. She knew the information would be passed across to the rest of her family.
