Crown Prince Dominic was currently having the time of his life somewhere in the Caribbeans, he had managed to bribe his guards to leave him alone for the night. It was a difficult task but he was up to the challenge. He wished he could get rid of the guards completely but they were the only way his parents would let him out of the kingdom and so he had no choice. He enjoyed travels and since he knew he was going to have to take over from his parents one day, he spent the majority of his youth everywhere but his actual Kingdom. Sometimes, he hated being prince because he hated how restricting it would be for him when he became king. He wouldn't be able to go out to party whenever he wanted, he wouldn't be able to hang out with whoever he wanted and he'd have to start making decisions for the whole kingdom and not just himself. At 25, the thought of being responsible for a whole nation of people scared him so he tried to avoid thinking about it as much as he could. His parents had tried to curb his wild side a lot but there was only so much they could do. Dominic was a wild horse and he would not be tamed. He shook his head, clearing it of thoughts of the future. He was going to be king one day, there was no escaping that but for now, he'd just enjoy his life as prince and live in the moment. He downed the last of his champagne and turned to the bar tender asking for a refill. He loved coming to small places, places where he wasn't always recognized. Here he could just be a normal guy. Of course, there were always the few people who could tell who he was as soon as he walked in but their silence was always easily bought with money. “This one is from that lady over there", the bar tender said as he handed him the drink. He signalled to a pretty blonde woman that sat a couple of tables away. The woman in question, raised her glass in acknowledgement with a seductive smile on her lips. Dominic let his eyes do a quick sweep of the woman. She had platinum blonde hair, a very sexy red dress and although she was seated, he could tell she was tall. He smiled to himself. The woman was definitely his type. He stood u from his seat and made his way to her. This wasn't the first time a stranger was buying him something. He found it amusing how he, a prince had managed to get a lot of free stuff, mostly from women and that was before they even found out who he was. He couldn't say he was surprised though. He was a fine piece of meat. Standing at 6'3, he was pretty tall. He had blonde hair and emerald green eyes. He spent quite some time in the gym as a teenager and even now as an adult and it paid off in his build. Dominic was lean and muscular and he made sure to wear clothes that accentuated that. He was also impeccably charming which was what drew all the women to him in the first place. He arrived at her table, then gave a small bow before sitting. The woman blushed before she extended her perfectly manicured hand to him for a handshake. Instead though, he just placed a kiss on it. That was something he realized, always drove the ladies crazy. “I'm Catherine", she introduced, “but you can call me Cat". Her voice came out sounding very sultry and he couldn't help but be intrigued. “I'm Will", he replied, “It's nice to meet you Cat". When he was around other people, he liked to introduce himself as Will so as to dissociate himself even farther from Crown Prince Dominic Christian William Wellington of Caldea Kingdom. He never went by his first name. He had been Will for so long that even people who knew his real identity called him Will. He was more comfortable being Will. Will was a normal 25 year old guy who loved to just party and have a good time. Dominic was a prince who would have to rule in the future. Even though Will was just a nickname of one of his middle names, Will was who he wished he could be. “Thank you for the drink", he told Cat. “It's my absolute pleasure", she said taking a sip out of her drink but making sure to keep her eyes on his. Dominic smiled again, also taking a sip from his glass. He wasn't originally planning on going home with anyone this night but apparently life other plans for him. He wasn't complaining though. “So Will, what do you do?" Cat asked. “Oh I'm into politics", he answered smoothly. That was something he had been saying for as long as he had been introducing himself as Will. It wasn't exactly a lie but it wasn't the whole truth either. “Ooh, you thinking of running for president one day?" “Something like that", he answered vaguely, “what about you?" “Oh I'm an event planner. I'm actually here for a wedding that I booked". “That's nice. I hope this means that I get an invite to that wedding", he joked. Cat laughed. “Oh I'd definitely invite you if I could but it's pretty exclusive". They moved on to talk about other things then. He found out that she was older than him by a year but he didn't mind and that the only reason she was here was to relax and unwind before the wedding. Of course, Dominic did what was natural to him and offered to help her relax. Cat immediately agreed and not long after, they left the bar. Since he was here a lot, he had a house here and since it was a lot closer, he invited Cat over. She was obviously very much into him as she didn't waste any time accepting his invite. When they arrived, he barely had time to close the door before they descended on each other. In a couple of seconds, clothes were scattered everywhere. They barely made it to the bedroom before they pounced on each other. He made sure to grab a condom from the drawer on his nightstand and even though Cat tried to assure him that she was on the pill, he didn't ease up. As much as he liked to have his fun, he was also very cautious. He knew how some women would try to use his identity against him when they eventually found out who he really was. He has had cases of women in the past who had claimed to be pregnant once they had found out who he really was. They all knew as a royal, especially crown prince he couldn't turn down a child who would potentially be his heir. He always had to end up demanding DNA tests from them that always ended up in his favor. He had never slipped up and he wasn't about to start now. A child would be the one thing that would force him to be responsible and he wasn't ready for that yet. He insisted on the condoms with every woman he slept with. He always kept them stashed on his nightstand and he carried them around with him wherever he went. Cat didn't fuss too much over the condoms though and she even offered to wear it for him. They picked up right where they left off. Dominic woke up the next morning to the sound of his phone ringing. He looked on his bed and saw a stranger lying in it. He was so confused as to how she got there before he remembered the events of the previous night. The fact that she was still here, in his room annoyed him, coupled with the fact that he couldn't even remember her name. The ringing stopped as soon as he picked up the phone. He didn't have to worry about that because his phone rang again. He saw that it was his best friend and personal assistant James. He answered it. “Dominic where are you?" James asked. “Good morning to you too", Dominic replied sarcastically. “It's not morning here in Caldea. It's noon". “Oh. Good day then". He could practically see James rolling his eyes. “You need to come home", James deadpanned. “I plan on coming home next month so calm down". “No Dominic, you need to come home as soon as possible. Your parents want to see you". “What? Why? If they want to see me, they can always just FaceTime me". “This is important Dominic", James said. Dominic could hear how serious he sounded. “What is it about?" “I don't know. They wouldn't tell me. All I know is that it's serious business. You need to be here as soon as possible". Dominic sighed. He knew it was goodbye Will, hello prince Dominic. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted and he could always come back later when whatever it is his parents wanted him to attend to was done. “Fine", he answered. “I'll send the private jet to you in an hour. Be ready", James said. “Yeah yeah", he answered before he ended the call. He looked at the woman beside him and tried once again to remember her name but for the life of him, he had no idea what it could be. She looked like a Shannon though. Maybe her name was Shannon. He quickly changed his mind. That was the girl he met last week. Well, whatever her name was, he needed her to wake up and leave. He had less than an hour to get ready for the private jet. He also knew his guards would be here soon to prepare him for the trip and the last thing he wanted was for her to see them. He stared at her sleeping form. She was pretty but she had to go. He proceeded to wake her up. “Um hi, I have to leave soon so I'm going to need you to leave", he said in the most polite way when she cracked an eye open. “Oh... okay", she said but made no move to stand up. He was losing his patience with her. She needed to leave before he lost his nice guy act. “Do you think I could have breakfast first? I'm actually sorta hungry. You really wore me out last night", she said chuckling. Dominic shook his head. “No, you don't understand. I'm in a hurry and you have to leave now". The look on the woman's face turned to one of shock. She couldn't believe that after last night, he'd just discard her like a piece of trash. Dominic on his part wasn't always this rude, he just happened to be in a hurry. Eventually though, the woman left and he couldn't have been more grateful. He went and took a shower and he came out and got dressed. His guards arrived not long after and they helped him pack his stuff. By the time they were done, they got to the jet just in time and soon, he was headed back home. He had to admit, he did miss Caldea. He had left for a month and even though Caldea was the one place he couldn't afford to act irresponsibly, it was still his home and he loved it. He had also missed his siblings and he looked forward to seeing them as well. When they landed in Caldea, a limo was waiting for them. They drove right to the palace where he saw James waiting for him outside. “Wow, whatever my parents have to say must be really important if you're here because I know you're not here to welcome me". “What do you mean? Of course I'm here to welcome you", James answered with a smirk. Dominic raised an eyebrow at him. “Let's just go. Your parents are waiting", James said leading the way to the throne room. “This better be worth me leaving the Caribbeans for", Dominic muttered as they made their way to his parents. James didn't answer that. When he arrived at the throne room, his parents were waiting. They both greeted them. His parents obviously weren't in the mood for pleasantries because they went straight to business. “Dominic we need to talk".
