Dominic woke up feeling disoriented. It only took him a couple of seconds to remember the events of the previous day and figure out where he was and why he was there.
He was nervous for the task ahead but he knew there was no avoiding it, it was necessary and if he was being honest to himself, he missed Alexa.
With that in mind, he got up from the bed and went to take a shower. While in the shower, he let the hot water wash away his stress.
He came out feeling very refreshed. He called the hotel for room service and while he was waiting for them, he got dressed.
He had put on some trousers with no shirt and was towel drying his hair when a knock sounded. “Room service", came a feminine voice following closely after the knock.
