It has been five days after the crazy interrogation by Louis and he never brought up the case since then. I had no idea if h me found out the truth or if he just let it go. Also, I decided not to take his lunch in since then after Jasmine's warnings. I barely set my foot out of the house and when I completed the books in my room, Jasmine bought several more to keep me busy.
She does reminds me of my mom when she gets so chatty, nagging and engaging. It drew our bond even tighter and I was happy I had not just one friend to lean in to but two.
