I've been home since the night of that day I got bitten. True, I was mentally broken, all my subconsciousness wanted was a very long break from reality but then I remembered the pretty faces of my sweethearts. The two reasons why I've always counted myself worthy of being protected.
I couldn't possibly leave them fatherless and at the same time, motherless. I wrote an appreciation letter to Alpha Louis and I went back home, alone that night.
I had no idea if he saw the message I left or not, because until now, I didn't hear from him.
Thanks to his help, I recovered from the swell of my hand overnight and I decided to visit Emilia again.
Of course, I had to ditch my kids with a strong lie, because I already promised to take them along the next time I'd be going for a visit
