I wasn't settled for a minute since Arya rushed out of the office in a dash. She looked like she was about to cry and it drove me nuts.
I wanted to do the easiest thing, follow her. But she clearly rejected any offers for help when Jasmine and I asked.
It didn't even take me a blink to go against her wishes and follow her regardless but Jasmine held me back, shaking her head gently in disapproval and I reluctantly retreated to my seat.
Without letting Jasmine notice, I chatted one of my trained guards with Nathan's recommendation and told him to follow her as stealthily as ever.
