"Give it a try?" Henry and Helen looked at each other, both a little stunned.
"Maurice, what are you talking about? Helen and Henry have only known each other for an hour. Helen's not that kind of woman!" Patricia slammed her drink on the coffee table, her voice sharp with annoyance.
Seriously, if Helen got drunk and impulsively agreed, then found out Henry was a broke loser, even if nothing happened, it would leave a huge mark on her history, and she'd hate Patricia for it. Losing a good friend over some broke guy would be a terrible loss, Patricia thought.
