Henry and his two friends left their private room, summoned a waiter, and went to the lobby to settle the bill.

"We agreed to just introduce you to a girlfriend, not have you pay for everything! Let us take care of this," they said.
"Yeah, if you feel bad, you can treat us next time. Don't forget to bring your fiancée to meet us then!" Maurice and Charles added, pooling their money together.
Henry smiled, said nothing, returned the 3,000 they had given him earlier, and excused himself to the restroom.
After washing his hands, the alcohol haze cleared from his head.
As he turned, he bumped into a girl exiting the women's restroom.
