After listening quietly to Charlotte's explanation, Henry scratched his head and asked, his tone uncertain.
"So, you're saying that even if I slept with other women, you wouldn't care or try to stop me, right?"
Charlotte nodded firmly.
"Exactly. This condition applies to both of us. It's clearly written in the contract, and we both have to stick to it. I won't interfere with you."
Henry let out a long sigh of relief. This arrangement couldn't have been more perfect for him.
The will stated it clearly: he had to marry Charlotte within two years, or he'd lose the right to inherit a massive fortune.
If Charlotte had refused, Henry might have tried negotiating with Michael to change the terms. But it was obvious Charlotte had her own reasons that left her no choice but to marry him.
