I groggily opened my eyes, only to find Liam gently tapping my shoulders to wake me up. Confusion washed over me as I realized I had dozed off on the couch while he was cooking in my kitchen. I rubbed my eyes, trying to fully wake up and comprehend the situation.
"What's happening?" I mumbled, still feeling the lingering effects of sleep.
Liam chuckled softly, his voice filled with warmth. "Dinner is ready. I thought you might want to eat before going back to sleep."
