It's been a few months and I love my job. It's so much easier when you don't have a d**k as a boss, I see Lucas now and again when he comes in for meetings, like today he is bringing some of his friends in. As I'm at the bar I see my bestie “ Danny boy I need you to be our bartender for our guests” he looks at me and smiles “ ok sammy baby, who am i partnered with?” what a stupid question “ you know who stupid” i giggle, then i see jess coming over to start her shift, i smile at her “ jess hun, would you mind helping danny boy with our guest today” she laughs “ of course as long as you come in and steal me to a bar again” we all laugh “ im definitely up for going to the bar again but this time danny boy here can go on the karaoke” i grin so does jess, we are both staring at danny and his eyes are wide “ nope, not doing it” i smirk “ what if i buy drinks for the night” he thinks it over “ deal, just make sure im drunk before hand” “ deal” we all laugh. 

Then I get a text. I look its Lucas, “ Danny, Jess, they will be here any minute please go make sure everything is ok please” they smile and make their way to the private area. Ten minutes later Lucas is coming through the door with his friend who I have met before.

I walk over, “ hey gents, how are we all today” i smile, they all smile at me “ we are all good sammy thanks, we was hoping for a table for 5 please” i nod “ i have to private area ready for you, “ no its ok sammy, just a table out here will be fine” i nod, i look over at jess’s section, i see there is a table available, “ right this way gents” i guide them over, they take their seats “ i'll just let your waitress know your here” lucas nods, why is he acting weird for, i turn away and go and get jess and danny, i open the door to the private area, “ danny, jess, they are wanting to seat out front, i've seated them in your area jess and they are waiting for you” she nods and heads out, danny walks behind me and we head to the bar, “ everything ok sammy” i nod and smile “ of course, i'm just going to get this customer's order” i head over to the gentleman, i can see lucas staring at me, i smile at the customer “ hi, what can i get you sir” he smiles “ i'll have a large red wine please love” i smile “ would you like a house red or a different one” “ house please” i nod and go make it, i head back with the wine and place it in front of him, he give me the cash and i give him the change “ have a good day sir” he nods with a smile, i head over to daniel, “ sammy baby, we still going out tonight” i nod “ yeah, i need to let my hair down” he smirk “ are we going to see our fun sammy” i nod “ yes!! It's going to be such a good night, what are you going to wear?” i laugh “ maybe my red dress” his eyes widen “ you mean…” I nod with a laugh, “ pulling out the big guns baby” he laughs “ I'm going to need to be your bodyguard” he laughs. 

20 minutes later, i decide to check in on lucas, as im heading over he sees me and turns away, what is his f*****g problem “ how is everything” “everything is lovely sammy” i nod “ im glad sir” he chuckles “ you dont need to call me sir, its ash, sammy” i nod and smile “ is there anything else i can get you gents” they all shake there heads so i leave.
