A few hours later a doctor comes towards us “ how is she” “ she is awake, she isn't completely with it but you can go see her” we nod and thank the doctor and head to see sammy. Her brother enters first “ sammy” she slowly turns her head “ chris” she gives him a small smile “how are you feeling?” “ sore, i have a headache still tho” he nod, then her eyes move to me and daniel and she gives us a small smile “ boys” i chuckle “ sammy” “ sammy baby” she giggles but she clutches her head, “ you ok sammy” she nods “ i will be” i walk to the side of the bed and take her hand “ sammy” she looks at me “ i need to ask you something” “ what is it” “ sammy you are an amazing person, you are the strongest person i know, you are stunning, smart, funny, the list can go on” she chuckles “ i love you sammy, and i know we haven't had the best start of a relationship but i was wondering if you will marry me” her eyes widen “ yes lucas yes!!” she screams with excitement, i gently kiss her lips “ when did you want to get married” she looks so excited “ tomorrow?” Daniel laughs “ he did say he would marry you tomorrow if he could” she giggles “ sounds good to me” i chuckle then sammy clutches her head and screams “ sammy what's wrong” then her heart monitor starts going off, something isn't right, her brother rushes out to get doctors “ sammy you're ok darling, remember we are going to get married tomorrow” “ lucas make it stop please” the doctors rush in, “ everyone out” “ sammy, i love you” she screams again and holds my hand “ don't go” she scream “ sir out” i look at her she mouths i love you and i walk out.
20 minutes later the doctors came over. “ I'm sorry we didn't notice before but Sammy had a brain haemorrhage” i look at him “ she is going to be ok?” He gives me a sad smile “ she is in surgery at the moment to try and release the pressure but be prepared that she may not make it, her body has dealt with a lot and she has lost a lot of blood” i nod “ thank you doctor”. I watch daniel pace back and forth “ how can they miss something like that” i shrug “ they were sorting her shot wound out they properly didn't think to check anything else out” “ how can you be so calm” i stand up and stand in front of him “ you think i want her to be in there laying on a slab whilst they stop a bleed? I love that f*****g women and i would give my life up just to be with her” “ your a f*****g i***t” i want to punch him so hard but i know he is hurting just like me “ i know your hurting daniel but we have to stick together for her” he take a deep breathe “ your right im sorry” “ no your angry and its fine, i want her to be laughing like she was and having a carefree life” we both sit down and wait, her brother hasn't said anything since she has been in there.
An hour later i see a doctor coming towards us covered in blood, that's never a good sign “ are you sammy’s family” we all nod “ im sorry to tell you this but she didn't make it” my heart has smashed into a million pieces “ no you have to wrong, she was going to marry me, she was going to be my wife” “ im sorry sir”. I punch the wall, daniel pulls me into a hug “ remember what we said we will do for her” i sob “ i can't do this without her daniel” “ its alright lucas” he pats my shoulder come on let's go” i nod.
