Mom decided to stay at home since she had an unexpected visitor. She said she'll try to come along later if she can. It was her old friends back when they were in middle school and moved blocks away from our house. Since I finished the project earlier, here I am, sitting on a couch near the pool at the resort where the party will be held. They also invited some of their friends, which I didn't know.
