As per Malachi's instructions, the four powerful demon lords were tasked with establishing their own formidable armies, each with a unique purpose and set of abilities. With this command, they embarked on a journey to amass their forces, gathering an assortment of wicked creatures, dark sorcerers, and fearsome beasts under their respective banners.
The first demon lord, known as Belial, sought to create an army of relentless warriors. He scoured the depths of the underworld, recruiting battle-hardened demons and training them in merciless combat techniques. Through rigorous discipline and brutal trials, Belial forged an unstoppable legion that struck fear into the hearts of even the most valiant warriors.
In contrast, the second demon lord, named Asmodeus, preferred a more insidious approach. He focused on assembling a covert force adept at manipulation and infiltration. Asmodeus handpicked skilled assassins, cunning spies, and powerful illusionists to form his shadowy army. With their expertise in deception and subterfuge, they became a formidable threat, operating in the shadows and undermining the foundations of their enemies.
The third demon lord, Abaddon, had a penchant for chaos and destruction. He gathered an army of monstrous creatures, ranging from grotesque abominations to vicious, bloodthirsty beasts. Abaddon's forces ravaged entire lands, leaving trails of devastation in their wake. The sheer brute force and ferocity of his army struck terror into the hearts of all who stood against them.
Voragoth, however, had no plans to create his own army. He believed that he alone was sufficient to eliminate anyone who crossed his path, considering himself a true "One Man Army." Additionally, he viewed the idea of building an army as a futile waste of time.
While the demon lords were busy establishing their armies, two princes emerged, each honing their power and dominance. They recognized the opportunity presented by the chaos unfolding within the demonic realm and decided to make their own progress. The first prince, Zephyrion, focused on mastering the art of strategy and diplomacy. He delved into the history of the demon lands, gathering information and learning tactics to aid the demon king.
The second prince, Aetherion, took a more direct approach. He honed his combat skills, tirelessly training in martial arts and studying the tactics of renowned warriors. Aetherion sought to prove himself to his father, the demon king.
On the other hand, the Holy Kingdom bolstered its army and fortified its defenses, but it seemed that the Archbishops couldn't stop talking about the enslaved demons and their relentless campaign to eradicate them. Killing the demons would become a symbol of dominance for the kingdom, but Eliana couldn't simply stand by and watch innocent demons suffer unjustly. Determined to take action, Eliana made a courageous decision and devised a daring plan. She dispatched a radiant spirit to the demon lands, carrying a message directly to Malachi, the leader of the demons. As the possibility of war hung heavily in her mind, and the once cherished friendship between her and Malachi teetered on the brink of fading into a mere memory, she held onto one final act of kindness. She yearned to set free the innocent demons who had been enslaved, as a heartfelt gesture in response to the kindness he had shown her in the past.
The message conveyed the precise location of the demons and offered a way to retrieve them, but Eliana implored Malachi for one last favor. She pleaded, "Please spare the lives of those who are guarding the demons. I beg you not to go as far as taking their lives."
Upon receiving the message, Malachi, with a grave expression on his face, called Lilith into his chamber. As she entered, her captivating presence filled the room, and her eyes locked with his. A faint smile played on her lips, a mixture of charm and mischief.
"Ah, Lilith," Malachi began, his voice laced with both admiration and caution. "I have a task of utmost importance for you. It requires someone with a unique set of skills."
Lilith tilted her head, feigning innocence, and took a step closer to Malachi. "And what might this task be, my lord?" she purred, her voice dripping with seduction. "Is it something that only I, with my dangerous charms, can accomplish?"
Malachi's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing through her facade. He knew all too well the power Lilith possessed, both in her ability to change her appearance and her formidable influence over others. But he also knew the dangers that came with her allure, dangers that could distract from the gravity of their mission.
"This is no time for games, Lilith," Malachi retorted, his tone firm and commanding. "The matter at hand is of great importance to the kingdom. We cannot afford to let distractions cloud our judgment. Are you prepared to take this task seriously?"
Lilith's smile faltered, and for a moment, the mischievous spark in her eyes dimmed. She nodded, a hint of sincerity creeping into her expression. "Of course, my lord. I understand the weight of the mission and the need for the utmost discretion."
Malachi's cold stare lingered, assessing her sincerity. Satisfied, albeit still cautious, he continued, "Good. Your ability to deceive and manipulate will be crucial in infiltrating our enemies. But remember, Lilith, your loyalty lies with the kingdom above all else."
With a flicker of understanding in her amber eyes, Lilith straightened her posture, shedding her playful demeanor. "You have my word, My lord The mission will be accomplished, and our enemies will be none the wiser."
As Lilith turned to leave, Malachi's gaze followed her, a mixture of admiration and wariness. The fate of the kingdom now rested in the hands of "The King's Dagger," a seductive succubus with a dangerous allure and a mission that demanded her utmost focus.
After receiving the task, Malachi granted Lilith ample time to prepare. However, her eagerness drove her to swiftly embark on her journey. Lilith took flight, soaring over plains and mountains, closing in on the destination where the demons were said to be located.
As twilight embraced the land, Lilith, with awe in her eyes, beheld the encampment of demons. The veiled corners resonated with an alluring darkness, while only a handful of places were illuminated by the flickering glow of lanterns. Although her mission demanded silence, Lilith was known for her penchant for causing trouble. Consequently, she executed a move that would be impossible to ignore. Utilizing her skill known as "Mirrorform," a potent shapeshifting ability, Lilith could alter her appearance with uncanny precision. By drawing upon the essence of mirrors and reflections, she could assume the likeness of anyone she desired, flawlessly replicating their features, forms, mannerisms, voices, and even memories to some extent. This skill allowed her to seamlessly blend into any environment, impersonate specific individuals, and proved to be a powerful tool for espionage, infiltration, and deception.
Employing Mirrorform, Lilith transformed herself into a bruised woman with tattered clothing, appearing in distress. She approached the guards stationed at the front gate, seeking their aid. As they drew near, Lilith executed another skill called "Euphoric Illusions." Through this ability, Lilith could perceive and manipulate the emotions and sensations of others, tailoring her charm and hallucinations to match the desires and preferences of her victims. A simple touch of her finger activated this skill, leaving the door of the camp unguarded. However, before entering, she reverted to the appearance of one of the guards, assuming their identity.
Lilith, filled with unwavering determination, strode purposefully towards the demonic beings who were imprisoned deep within the heart of the camp. As her gaze met the curious eyes of the demons, a glimmer of anticipation flickered in their gazes. In a swift and deliberate motion, she shed her cleverly crafted disguise, revealing her true identity. With a radiant smile etched across her face, she gestured to the demons, silently commanding them to maintain the utmost silence.. With such a large and vigilant encampment, it would be nearly impossible to go unnoticed by the patrolling guards. Nevertheless, Lilith had a plan that might be deemed audacious—she summoned her dark powers, channeling them into a skill known as "Ensnare." A swirling cloud of malevolent smoke, dark and writhing like living shadows, emerged, enveloping the surroundings. The smokescreen exuded an otherworldly allure, enticing and ensnaring unsuspecting souls. The captivating illusions it conjured entangled their senses, binding them to its enchanting web.
The demons, now under enchantment, were unaffected by the smoke, allowing Lilith and the demons to escape toward the front gate. However, their path was blocked by Astrid, who stood guard with her sword raised, radiating a deadly determination. "Long time no see, Lilith. Looks like you're still hiding your hideous face with your illusion," Astrid said, pointing her sword at Lilith.
