Lilli's POV
I gently picked Emma up off of the couch and held her in my arms. I stood next to Kayden and he wrapped his arms around the both of us protectively. If Tammy can't control her thirst, then Emma and I both have to get out of here. My blood is special and so is Emma's. Every vampire thirst for it. A newborn? Well they might just want it more. Christopher walked into the room where Tammy was, and I realized that she was awake. I looked at Kayden and he gave me a reassuring smile. I fixed Emma's blanket as she slept soundlessly.
