As the weeks passed, Amelia found herself falling deeper and deeper in love with Alexander. Amelia felt her heart break at his words, a rush of empathy flooding her veins. She reached out and cupped his face in her hands, her gaze locked with his.

"Alexander, I believe in you, more than you'll ever know," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Whatever you're hiding, whatever demons you're battling, I'm here for you. You don't have to face them alone."
